This fund primarily directs its investments toward the ordinary shares of companies that are considered medium-sized. The portfolio managers aim to identify and purchase stocks of businesses they believe are undervalued in the market. At least 80% of the fund's total assets (which includes any borrowed funds used for investment) will be allocated to equity holdings of companies whose market capitalization, when initially acquired, falls within the parameters established by the Russell Midcap® Value Index. The fund retains the flexibility, during normal market conditions, to commit up to 20% of its assets to securities issued by companies whose market capitalizations are outside these specified ranges.
