Focusing on institutional and corporate clients, the Wholesale Banking division excels in client relationship management and solution delivery. Its advisory capabilities span equity and equity-linked offerings, debt restructuring, initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary placements, and broader corporate consultation. The segment also facilitates both conventional and Islamic financing for diverse needs, such as trade, working capital, capital expenditure, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged transactions, and large-scale projects. Furthermore, it delivers integrated funding solutions encompassing cash management, trade financing, foreign exchange services, custodial services, corporate lending, sophisticated derivatives, structured financial products, and debt capital markets. Engaging in extensive treasury operations, it covers foreign exchange, money markets, derivatives, and capital market trading. This segment additionally offers transaction banking, brokerage services, wealth management, investment and securities financing, and trust services. With a substantial global footprint, CIMB operates through 630 retail branches and provides 7,652 self-service customer access points across 15 different countries. Established in 1924, the company's central operations are based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
