Furthermore, Marubeni supplies agricultural inputs, offers contracting services for fertilizer application and crop protection, provides technical support, and deals in crop protection product formulations, fertilizers, and oilseeds. In the realm of information and communication technology (ICT) and property, the company delivers ICT solutions and real estate services. Marubeni is also a key player in chemicals and materials, trading in petrochemicals, plastics, salts, chlor-alkalis, life science products, electronic materials, and various inorganic minerals and chemicals. Its involvement extends to wood chips, biomass fuels, pulp, recycled paper, diverse paper and paperboard products, sanitary goods, and both general and specialty construction materials. Within the energy, metals, and mining industries, Marubeni is active in exploring, developing, and producing oil and natural gas, alongside trading, distributing, and marketing petroleum and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It develops mines for uranium, nuclear fuel cycle materials, iron ore, coal, and copper, offering associated equipment sales and services, while also engaging in the smelting and refining of aluminum and magnesium. Further, Marubeni trades in iron ore, coking coal, various non-ferrous metals, ingots, and steel products, in addition to leasing temporary steel construction materials. The corporation boasts a robust infrastructure and power division, delivering engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and operation and maintenance (O&M) services for railway systems, water facilities, industrial complexes, and waste-to-energy power plants. The company plays a significant role in energy and transportation infrastructure, water utilities, and the management of infrastructure funds. Moreover, it is active in power generation—including renewables, natural gas, hydrogen, and ammonia—power services and retail, municipal solid waste management, and thermal energy storage. Finally, Marubeni's interests extend to machinery and mobility. This includes owning, procuring, operating, leasing, selling, and chartering aerospace products and marine vessels. Its machinery and mobility segment encompasses the sale, trading, leasing, financing, and servicing of construction and industrial equipment, as well as mobility-related products.
