Its Spanish presence includes 49 hospitals, 88 outpatient clinics, and approximately 300 risk prevention centers. Additionally, this segment extends its services to fertility treatment, operating 33 dedicated clinics and 39 supplementary locations spanning ten countries across three continents. Fresenius Vamed is dedicated to project management and service provision for hospitals and other healthcare infrastructure. Its comprehensive offerings range from project conception, detailed planning, and complete turnkey construction to ongoing maintenance, technical oversight, and operational administration. Originally established in 1912, the company was previously known as Fresenius SE before adopting its current name, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA, in January 2011. Its global headquarters are situated in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany.
