In the United States, Sibanye Stillwater's assets feature the East Boulder and Stillwater mines located in Montana. Its Columbus metallurgical complex is responsible for processing mined materials into PGM-rich filter cake, alongside undertaking PGM recycling activities. The company maintains a significant operational footprint in South Africa, overseeing facilities like Kroondal, Rustenburg, Marikana, and Platinum Mile. Its presence also includes surface operations at Driefontein, Kloof, and Cooke on the West Rand of the Witwatersrand Basin, and the Beatrix complex in the southern Free State. Additional interests in South Africa encompass gold projects such as Hoedspruit, Burnstone, and other sites within the southern Free State, as well as investments in surface tailings retreatment facilities. In southern Zimbabwe, the company operates the Mimosa mine. Globally, its portfolio extends to the Marathon PGM project in Ontario, Canada, and features the Altar and Rio Grande copper-gold development projects situated in the Andes region of north-western Argentina.
