Additionally, this division offers crucial services to healthcare providers, such as supplier management, data analytics, inventory control, and clinical supply oversight. It also develops various programs to provide logistical support and marketing strategies for its network of suppliers. Conversely, the Global Products segment focuses on manufacturing and procuring medical and surgical items designed to prevent infections acquired in healthcare settings, serving both acute care facilities and alternative site channels. Its diverse product portfolio features sterilization wraps, surgical drapes and gowns, facial protection gear, various protective apparel, medical examination gloves, customized and minor procedure kits, among other essential medical supplies. O&M supplies its extensive range of offerings directly to a broad client base, which includes large multi-facility healthcare provider networks, independent hospitals, surgical centers, physician's practices, and hospital systems. Distribution also occurs indirectly through collaborations with third-party partners. Founded in 1882, the company maintains its principal corporate office in Richmond, Virginia.
