Furthermore, Kuraray's Functional Materials division produces and supplies methacrylic resins, medical-grade products, and carbon materials. The Fibers and Textiles segment oversees the production and sale of synthetic fibers, a range of textiles, the distinguished CLARINO man-made leather, non-woven fabrics, and similar items. Completing its portfolio, the Trading segment is primarily involved in processing and distributing synthetic fibers and artificial leathers. The company, which has been in operation since its founding in 1926, maintains its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
