Furthermore, this division is actively involved in public-private partnership (PPP) projects. HOCHTIEF Europe primarily concentrates on infrastructure and building construction endeavors, alongside managing public-private partnerships (PPP) across diverse sectors such as transportation, energy, social services, and urban development. Beyond construction, this division provides specialized engineering services, including virtual construction methodologies, and offers comprehensive facility management. The Abertis Investment segment focuses on the operation of toll road networks in several countries, including France, Spain, throughout North America, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. Additionally, HOCHTIEF offers insurance policies and reinsurance solutions. These reinsurance services specifically cover areas such as contractors' casualty and surety, subcontractor default, liability, and occupational accident risks. Established in 1873, HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft maintains its headquarters in Essen, Germany.
