It manages condotel and golf resort operations, provides cable car services and related support, engages in creative and artistic projects, oversees project and construction management, and facilitates offshore financing. Additional services include operating karaoke facilities, payment and collection agencies, loyalty programs, waste management (encompassing garbage collection, disposal, and sewerage), and essential utility provisions such as electricity, water, and liquefied petroleum gas, particularly at its Genting Highlands site. The company also handles investment trading, reinsurance, and comprehensive resort management. Its extensive operations also include the management of sports betting (sportsbooks), the ownership and operation of aircraft and sea vessels, software research and development initiatives, and the running of a video lottery facility. Founded in 1980, the company was initially recognized as Resorts World Bhd before adopting its current identity as Genting Malaysia Berhad. Its corporate headquarters are located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
