Beyond consumables, it offers a wide selection of non-food goods, including various home appliances, clothing and baby products, footwear, accessories, general household articles, books, magazines, digital media, stationery, toys, sports and camping gear, furniture, mobile phones, mattresses, pet supplies, gardening tools, and advanced electronic products like computers, software, accessories, and audio-visual systems. The company further diversifies its offerings by operating drugstores that provide medications and cosmetics, as well as selling non-food items at its gas stations. Additionally, it generates revenue through commercial space rentals and e-commerce platforms. Its retail footprint encompasses several well-known brands: Supermarkets: Pão de Açúcar, Extra Supermercado, Mercado Extra, and Compre Bem. Hypermarkets: Extra Hiper. Proximity Stores: Mini Extra, Minuto Pão de Açúcar, Pão de Açúcar Adega, and Aliados Minimercado. Ancillary Services: Extra and Pão de Açúcar for gas stations and drugstores. Online Presence: Sales conducted via its dedicated websites. As of December 31, 2021, Companhia Brasileira de Distribuição managed an impressive network comprising 667 stores, 74 gas stations, and 68 drugstores spread across 16 Brazilian states and the Federal District.
