Furthermore, roughly 1,800 outlets were licensed to partners, predominantly operating under the Circle K banner in countries such as Cambodia, Egypt, Guam, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Jamaica, Macau, Mexico, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. Established in 1980, the company was initially known as Actidev Inc. before adopting its current name, Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., in December 1994.
