Air Canada, a prominent Canadian airline, delivers comprehensive air travel solutions for passengers and freight across domestic, transborder U.S., and international routes. Scheduled passenger transport is available through its core Air Canada operations, under the Air Canada Vacations and Air Canada Rouge brands in Canadian, Canada-U.S. transborder, and international markets, and through capacity agreements with regional carriers. By December 31, 2021, the company commanded a significant fleet. Its mainline operations comprised 175 aircraft, evenly split between 97 Boeing and Airbus narrow-body jets and 78 Boeing and Airbus wide-body aircraft. The Air Canada Express brand utilized 123 aircraft, including 50 Mitsubishi regional jets, 48 De Havilland Dash-8 turboprops, and 25 Embraer 175s. Furthermore, Air Canada Rouge operated a fleet of 39 aircraft, consisting of 14 Airbus A321s, 5 Airbus A320s, and 20 Airbus A319s. Beyond passenger services, Air Canada also delivers air cargo services across its domestic, U.S. transborder, and international network, connecting Canada with key markets in Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia. Its diversified offerings include developing and marketing vacation travel packages to a wide array of destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, the United States, Europe, Central and South America, the South Pacific, Australia, and Asia. The company further organizes cruise packages for North America, Europe, and the Caribbean, and administers travel loyalty initiatives. Established in 1937, Air Canada maintains its headquarters in Saint-Laurent, Canada.
